De kamer in Sir Adam was rauw, eerlijk en allesbehalve braaf. Beton, staal en daglicht vormden het perfecte decor voor een vrouw die haar kracht niet hoeft uit te leggen. Ze kwam binnen met een stille vastberadenheid. Geen toneel, geen excuses, alleen pure aanwezigheid. De stad lag aan haar voeten, het licht viel als vloeibaar goud over haar huid. Elke pose was zacht én scherp, vrouwelijk én sterk. Soms leunend tegen een industriële muur, dan weer badend in een streep licht. Zonder haast. Zonder opsmuk. Alles was contrast. Alles was zij. Zoals een moderne muze, met de ongetemde energie van Emmaly Brown belichaamde ze een eigen vorm van Rock & Roll. Niet gespeeld, maar geleefd. Boudoir met een edge.
